Tilicho Lake Trek

At 4920m above sea level, Tilicho Lake is one of the highest and most beautiful lakes in the world. Its turquoise water is frozen from November to May. In fact, Maurice Herzog and his party walked across the frozen lake in 1950 while looking for an approach to Annapurna I (they eventually succeeded making them the first climbers to summit an 8000m peak.)
This extension is undertaken as a side trip from Manang on the Annapurna Circuit.
For those adventurous trekkers, it's also possible to walk the difficult section from Tilicho Lake to Jomsom over the 5120m Meso Kanto La. Contact us for more details.
