Nar Phu Trek

Phu from above Phu from above

This trek visits the medieval villages of Nar and Phu in an area completely isolated from the outside world, until Tilman's first exploration in the 1950's. This trek was only open to foreign trekkers in late 2002.

Camping option is also available, which makes the trek more flexible and enjoyable as days are shorter.

Instead of heading back to Besi Sahar direct from Ngawal (after crossing the Kang La), many clients choose to continue on to Manang and then cross the Thorung La over to Jomsom as shown in our Annapurna Circuit Trek.
