Langtang Valley Trek

Pastures near Kyanjin Gompa Pastures near Kyanjin Gompa

Sandwiched between the Kathmandu Valley and Tibet, the Langtang Valley is the third most popular trekking area in Nepal, after Everest and Annapurna. Although there are no 8000m visible, the 7000m peaks around Kyanjin Gompa are very impressive.

The villages along the trek were devastated after the 2015 quake but after two years of rebuild, trail conditions and facilities have vastly improved so now it's time to go again.
