Annapurna Circuit Trek

An oasis near Muktinath An oasis near Muktinath

Also called the Apple Pie Trail, the Annapurna Circuit is a classic teahouse trek and considered one of the best in the world. The trail starts from the sub-tropical forest of Lamjung and skirts the walls of Annapurna to Manang. From there you cross the 5416m Thorung La and arrive in the high highest desert of Mustang.

Since much of the trek lies in the Himalayan rain shadow, the Annapurna Circuit is a great option during Monsoon season.
